Edit from the transcript

Edit spoken content by selecting words in the transcript.

Edit from the transcript when you want Trebble to update the audio or video by working with words instead of waveforms.

Steps

  1. Open the project in the editor.

  2. Click or drag across the transcript words you want to edit.

  3. Use delete or cut actions to remove selected words.

  4. Click More when you need Correct transcript or Adjust timing.

  5. Use undo if the change is not right.

  6. Play the section back before moving on.

If something goes wrong

  • If selection feels wrong, zoom or click a smaller range before editing.

  • If Adjust timing is unavailable, select one editable element instead of a range.
