Add and arrange media

Use editor controls to add music, media, recordings, muted sections, and background audio.

Use editor controls to add and arrange media around the transcript, including music, audio, video, recordings, background audio, and muted sections.

Steps

  1. Open the editor.

  2. Select where the media should be added.

  3. Click Insert Element.

  4. Choose the action you need, such as Insert, Insert video at start, Record and insert, Insert Audio in Background, or Mute selection.

  5. Preview the section.

  6. Adjust placement or remove the element if it does not fit.

Good to know

  • Background audio wraps around a selected section so it plays behind that part of the project.

  • Mute selection keeps timing intact while silencing the chosen section.

If something goes wrong

  • If an asset is missing, check Assets in the active workspace.

  • If an insert action is unavailable, make sure you have selected a valid location in the editor.
