Search inside a project

Find words, review results, and remove matching content from the editor.

Use Search when you need to jump to a word, review every match, or remove repeated content from a project.

This guide covers

  • Text search from the editor toolbar.

  • Previous and next result navigation.

  • Playback for search results.

  • Deleting one result or removing all highlighted results.

  • Search settings such as auto-jump and preview behavior.

Steps

  1. Open a project in the editor.

  2. Click Search in the toolbar.

  3. Type the word or phrase you want to find.

  4. Use the previous and next controls to move through results.

  5. Play a result before deleting it.

  6. Use Remove all only after reviewing what will be removed.

Good to know

  • Some workspaces may also show Smart Search for meaning-based searches.

  • Search results depend on transcript accuracy. Correct the transcript first if a word is missing or spelled incorrectly.

  • The search settings menu can change how quickly Trebble jumps through and previews results.

If something goes wrong

  • If Search finds nothing, check spelling, transcript language, and whether transcription has finished.
