Change editor view settings

Control what the Trebble Editor shows while you review a project.

Use Display settings when you want to adjust what is visible in the editor while reviewing a transcript or timeline.

This guide covers

  • Dark theme.

  • Ignored or deleted content visibility.

  • Reveal deleted content for closer review.

  • Gaps between words and edit boundaries.

  • Autoscroll during playback.

Steps

  1. Open a project in the editor.

  2. Click Display settings in the toolbar.

  3. Turn on only the view options you need for the review.

  4. Use Reveal deleted content when you need to inspect removed words or sections.

  5. Turn options off again when you want a cleaner editing view.

Good to know

  • View settings change what you see. They do not export hidden or deleted content back into the final file by themselves.

  • Showing edit boundaries can make it easier to inspect where edits were made.

If something goes wrong

  • If the editor feels crowded, turn off deleted content, gaps, and edit boundaries after review.
