Reveal and restore deleted content

Show deleted words or sections and restore them when needed.

Use Reveal deleted content when you need to check what was removed and restore a deleted word or section.

Steps

  1. Open the project in the editor.

  2. Click Display settings.

  3. Turn on Reveal deleted content.

  4. Select the deleted content you want to bring back.

  5. Click Restore.

  6. Play back the section to make sure the restored content fits.

Good to know

  • Restore is useful when a cut was too aggressive or an AI suggestion removed something important.

  • Undo is usually faster for the most recent edit. Restore is better when you are reviewing older deleted content.

If something goes wrong

  • If you cannot see deleted content, confirm Reveal deleted content is turned on in Display settings.
