Transcribe imported audio or video

Choose a language and transcribe imported media from the editor.

Use Transcribe when an imported audio or video element needs text in the editor.

Steps

  1. Open the project in the editor.

  2. Select the imported audio or video element.

  3. Click Transcribe from the element controls.

  4. Choose the language used in the audio.

  5. Click Transcribe.

  6. Review and correct the new transcript before editing.

Good to know

  • The last language you used may be selected by default.

  • Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality, speaker clarity, and the selected language.
