How to edit a video file

Updated over a year ago

You can not directly create a video file with Trebble, but you can import, transcribe, and edit an existing video file from your device the same way you import audio files. To import and edit a video file, do the following:

Step 1: Access the Trebble studio and import the video file from your device

From your library area, click on the create shortcast icon on the bottom right of the page to access the Trebble studio.

On the studio page, click on the Import Mode button at the top. This will switch the page to allow you to import the video file. Click on the import message box at the center of the page and pick the video file from your device.

Once the video file has been imported, click on the Next button at the top right corner of the page to proceed.

Click on TRANSCRIBE AND EDIT from the two options on the next page. This option will lead to the language selector page, which allows you to specify the language used in your video file.

Click on the box in the middle of the next page to select your preferred language. Once that is done, click TRANSCRIBE below and wait a few minutes for Trebble to upload, transcribe, download, decode, and parse the video file for editing.
