How to edit an audio file

You can transcribe and edit the properties of your audio, including adding background sounds, applying intro and outro, deleting filler words, and the like. To edit your audio, follow the steps below:

Step 1: Record or import your audio

To create a new audio or import one from your device, click on the circle icon at the bottom left of your dashboard area. It should take you to the audio recording page.

On the audio recording page, click on the audio recording icon at the bottom of the screen to start recording your audio.

If you’d like to import the audio from your device, simply click on the Import Mode tab at the top of the screen. The screen should immediately switch to import mode. Click on the instruction at the center of the screen after that and select the audio file from your device manager.

Click on the Next tab at the top right corner of the page after recording your audio or importing it from your device.

Click on TRANSCRIBE AND EDIT from the options on the next page to proceed.

Select your language from the drop-down menu on the next page and click on TRANSCRIBE below the language selector to proceed to the editing page.

Wait a few moments while Trebble loads, transcribes, and downloads the audio for editing. Upon completion, the editing page will be shown to you where you can apply all the necessary edits to your audio.

Step 2: Apply the necessary edits to your audio

To edit any portion of the audio, simply highlight the text and right-click on it. Then use the features provided above the highlighted text to apply your edit. Click on the Next button at the top right corner of the screen when you are done to proceed to titling your audio.

On the next page, provide the title and additional notes to your recording. Click on the FINISH button at the top right corner of the page to complete and save your audio.

Wait a few moments while Trebble applies, renders, and saves the audio to your library.
